Our services are non-invasive, effective, and best of all, not OSHA recordable.

We offer a variety of proven modalities that target pain relief and prevent ongoing issues. Services may include massage, acupuncture, ergonomics assessment, wellness coaching, stretching and exercise. All provided at your workplace.

Massage Therapy

We use a very specific, highly researched technique of massage that has given us proven results in reducing and eliminating not only repetitive motion pains, but also chronic pain and headaches. This not only reduces discomfort, but aids in stress relief.

Acupuncture

Based on ancient methods, this minimally invasive and near painless technique can help reduce stress and offers an alternative to traditional methods for pain relief. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), a number of studies suggest that acupuncture works particularly well on chronic pain such as back and neck pain, osteoarthritis/knee pain, and headaches.

Ergonomics Assessment

Although repetitive motions can cause injuries, repetitive motions with poor ergonomics are almost guaranteed to cause injuries. After assessment, we’ll suggest options to modify your work environment or demonstrate a better way of moving the body to reduce the risk of common musculoskeletal disorders.

Wellness Coaching

Our extensive knowledge in pain and pain management, nutrition, exercise, physical movement, and supplementation make us a valuable resource and partner. We can complement the programs you already have through your health insurance to maximize the investment.

Stretching & Exercise

Even with proper ergonomics, sometimes we need to stretch or do a specific exercise to help undo or unwind our body from things we do every day. We can develop specialized programs based on your employees’ daily movement.

We’re on a mission to reshape the way occupational health is provided.

The traditional workers compensation route is ineffective, costly, and frustrating to all parties. We offer an innovative and practical alternative.

The benefits go way beyond convenience and affordability.

Studies have repeatedly shown that health and safety programs can save $3-6 dollars for every dollar invested.

Reduce your workers compensation claims and see improved employee morale, productivity, and loyalty.

Your Employees are Happier

Our primary objective is to relieve pain and discomfort as quickly as possible – and prevent it from happening in the first place. As your employees’ health improves, there’s a domino effect of positive changes. Their morale and productivity improve, which spreads throughout the team. It’s a win-win for your company and your employees.

Your Employees are Productive

Employees remain on-site while receiving care. No need for them to lose a day to time-consuming physician or physical therapy appointments. Instead, they leave their workstation for an average of 30 minutes. Our interventions also reduce the need for light duty, job rotation, or job restrictions. All of these factors add up to less absenteeism and presenteeism.

You Save Money

In addition to the cost savings from a happier and more productive workforce, your company can reduce OSHA recordables and workers compensation claims. This will reduce your insurance premiums. Not only that, the preventive nature of our services can reduce overall healthcare costs as well – less medications, less doctor visits, and less complications from invasive procedures.

Your Program is Customized

We work with your management and employees to create a customized program for each participant and your team as a whole. Our goal is to use the most efficient set of interventions with no wasted time on unnecessary procedures or time away from work.

Let’s raise the bar for employers everywhere.

Create a positive, healthy work environment that shows your hard-working employees that you care about their well-being. It goes a long way.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who pays for treatments?

Your company pays for all massage and related services on behalf of your employees. By doing so, you can demonstrate your commitment to their health and well-being, while also setting your company apart from the competition.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. However, if we feel further evaluation is necessary, we encourage your employees to seek outside medical evaluation or treatment.

Is massage considered an OSHA recordable injury?

Massage is not an OSHA recordable injury. It’s considered first aid. In order to avoid a recordable injury with massage, there should be no missed or restricted work, no job transfer, and no medical treatment beyond first aid. Medical treatment includes identifying a medical diagnosis or prescribing employee specific exercises or stretches.

What type of discomforts do we commonly see?

Most often, we see repetitive motion issues such as Carpal Tunnel, Tennis Elbow, Rotator Cuff dysfunction, and other hand discomfort and numbness. We successfully treat issues like these with over a 90% resolution rate. Although work-related discomfort is our priority, we can also help with non-work-related aches and pains since they can interfere with your employees’ ability to work productively too.

We have three shifts. How can everyone get treatments?

We typically schedule massages at a time when your shifts overlap. This allows the most flexibility for employees, employers, and our wellness team.

How many hours will our company need and how long are massages?

We recommend 30-minute time slots for a 20-minute massage.

  • 5 minutes for employee to leave their workstation
  • 15-20 minutes for massage
  • 5 minutes for employee to return to their workstation

However, if this isn’t possible, even 10-15 minute massages are beneficial.

When do employees get massages?

This is your decision. Every company is different. We can accommodate your needs.

Do we need you if we already have a wellness program?

For starters, congratulations. You have taken a huge first step. Many insurance companies offer wellness programs to help you reduce healthcare costs. However, these programs do very little to help manage the enormous burden and expenses related to pain in the workplace. Although maintaining healthy blood pressure or healthy cholesterol levels is important, it doesn’t address the most common reason that your employees miss work or aren’t able to work to their full potential, which is pain.
